Smitten Shots was born in early 2014 - Stacey & Gina had both built independent photography businesses and found that the wedding services individual photographers were providing were not meeting the level of services they wanted to provide brides on their day. Gina and Stacey have both shot independent weddings and found so much important time was wasted, many moments were missed by a single photographer vs. having two photographers. Having that extra set of eyes to catch a wrinkle in your dress, the extra set of hands to fix that flyaway hair- or someone to simply just put that tipsy groomsman back in his position- That second photographer made a world of a difference on how smooth the wedding day went and left no moments missed. Lets not forget the best part- capturing both the bride and grooms reactions when you first see each other - rather that be a first look or that moment your eyes connect as your walking down that isle.

Hi, Im Stacey.
Although I’ve been passionate about photography since I can remember, I really only embraced it once I had children of my own. Even more so after my husband deployed on his first tour of Iraq (8 years and 2 countries later). With my husband overseas I found myself capturing every possible moment I could so he could "be there". Images that made me "feel" is what I began to adore, it gave me the desire to want to learn more.
Five years and MANY $$ later, here we are. I have been in business for the last four years capturing the love of so many. I LOVE THE NEWBORNS - Who doesnt love a fresh new squishy baby to squeeze and love on. Capturing moments to cherish for a lifetime and being able to give it to another parent? Well, that’s one of the best rewards I’ve found in life thus far. I am also the official photographer for the Lake County Honor Flight- Being able to witness first hand the emotion these WWII, Vietnam, and Koren Veterans hold while visiting their war memorials - the experience its self is life changing. I encourage anyone to volunteer and go on one of our trips.
Weddings...Love... and Couples, Thats why your here, right? - they are the foundations of all families - I absolutly adore all of our couples, Its a pleasure to watch your marriage start from the begining and then capture your family as it grows. (I will be the one asking you when the babies are coming:)

First and foremost, I am a wife and a mommy. I have two beautiful children & one gorgeous bonus daughter, which keep me very busy! They are my reason for everything, and where my LOVE of photography started. Photographing their every move is my joy.

My main focus with my photography, is to make people feel special. I believe life is about emotions and I want your photos to showcase and be about you! I like to keep it simple, real and to be focused on making each photo best represent you. I work to create real connections and genuine moments, not forced smiles. I love photographing and meeting new people. Capturing beautiful moments that will last a lifetime.
